What is IPL Photofacial?
Intense Pulsed Light can be used for the treatment of brown spots, such as sun spots, age spots, and freckles. It is most frequently used to treat spots on the face, neck, chest, upper shoulders, arms, and the back of your hands.
IPL is also utilized in the treatment of redness, including broken blood vessels (telangiectasia), generalized redness, rosacea, and facial flushing.

How Does IPL Photofacial Work?
While a laser provides a beam in a very narrow wavelength, the light used in an IPL Photofacial session is considered broad spectrum, but is still very intense. That intensity allows it to hit the surface of the skin where it eliminates damage, and to penetrate below the surface, where it stimulates collagen production.
Since collagen is a natural protein that gives skin elasticity and strength, new collagen will create a healthier look by adding volume to skin that is wrinkled and uneven—a perfect complement to the reduction in acne, rosacea redness, and large pores.
